We’re New York City’s domain of the Modern Enigma Society (MES), a nationally linked LARP organization. We aim to tell stories together in an engaging, affirming, and inclusive environment.
Nationally linked means our members also travel to games and events hosted by our individual domains and chapters, use some of the numerous “in character” e-mail lists and even attend larger events at the regional and national level. New York has a good relationship with our neighboring domains in Princeton NJ, Boston MA, and Springfield MA.
The MES has roots in Vampire: the Masquerade games going back over 30 years, and is excited to bring its legacy of World of Darkness LARPs into the modern era, to reach a wide range of players across the country and beyond. Our players also host social events and charity fundraisers to help create a community.
